Smile for the Birdy - Submit Your Videos Now
Modified By Team_PhArt  on 23/08/2009 9:24:56 AM)
Some die hard, crazy committed, never say never photographers will do anything to get a photo. Check this guy out;

Smile For The Birdy

What about you?

We want you to send us a video from your next shoot. Nothing over the top like that guy, just answer these questions;

  1. What's your name and company name?
  2. Where are you?
  3. What are you shooting with? Camera, lens, settings...
  4. What are you shooting?
  5. Why are you shooting?
  6. What keywords would you use to describe the photo? 5 or more of course

That's it!

When you're done, upload them to YouTube or your favorite video site and then embed them in this forum thread. Easy.

Why do it?

It's fun, and we'll give your profile or private collection a big promo on the main Smile for the Birdy page.

So grab your little point and click with video function, or your full-on video camera if you're that keen, and start shooting the shoot.

Just keep an eye 'up' for parrots.

Team PhArt...hoping YOU get the chance to test drive the Olympus PEN E-PL1 and win!

Here are a couple of videos from Paul, one of the Photo Art Gallery Pharmy!

Sunrise

Macro Shot

Remember, like Paul did, just answer the six questions below. You don't have to make it a Hollywood blockbuster.

Tracy, can you record one? Doesn't have to be fancy like Mels. Just grab your pocket digital and give it a go.

Just answer these questions next time your taking a photo;

1. What's your name and company name?
2. Where are you?
3. What are you shooting with? Camera, lens, settings...
4. What are you shooting?
5. Why are you shooting?
6. What keywords would you use to describe the photo? 5 or more of course

Re: Smile for the Birdy - Submit Your Videos Now
Hey guys here is a mini studio shoot I did in my own bed room, with simple white paper and speed lights! was alot of fun playing around with it. let me tell you about it.

1. Of course you know me, IM GLEN!! :)

2. I simply shot it in my own bedroom, real easy (and Cheap) set up

3. Shooting with my Canon 5D with a 28-70mm 2.8L lens, set up with monochrome preset to show of the tonal gradation created by the small flashes

4. Shooting a small wooden figurine, same process I use whenever I will shoot small objects now.

5. Key words would be, still life, wooden, sculpture, figure, studio, Vietnamese.

Enjoy!

All GO for GLEN!

5. Ah - this one's easy. I can't draw!

6. CathieT, Cathie Tranent, (see there's two) Australia, outback, beaches, random leaf, and dare I say .. essence??
