Aww I would love to go, I've never had a chance to explore Melbourne, especially not photographically!
That's why everyone needs to take lots of atmospheric shots so that we can feels as if we are there!

Sorry Jo...the Jet is busy taking Photographers to other important destinations this weekend.
Very sorry I couldnt make it but thanks for being our ambassdor, stay warm and goodluck to everyone who is attending.
It should be great and we look forward to seeing the images.

Hi Jo - I meant to let you know earlier but I can't make it to the melbourne walk.
My 10 year old broke her wrist and my 8 year old has been on a drip all week as she's been knocked around by nasty viruses.
Oh - husband away too.
Great week.
I hope you dont get too rained out - cant wait to see photos from everyone.
Cheers - I may stop what Im doing at about 6 and pretend Im at Fed Square and have a drink or 2 to try to feel like I was there too! :)

Natalie,
Commiserations on all the dramas you're having to cope with - it's called parenthood, and it gets a bit better after they turn about 30. Sorry you won't be there, but if this is the success I'm expecting it to be, it won't be the last one we do, and hopefully everyone who misses out on this one will catch up then.
And come rain, hail, thunder and storm, think of the great opportunities all that presents photographically.

I think there will be lots of those today :) Would be good to see a lot of the footy fans walking along the Yarra as well. May prove interesting?

| Been watching the whether radar all morning. By the look of it most of the rain will of passed by the time the walk starts. I'll keep on eye on it but I think we may be fine. |

yeah same here. the dopler radar says most of the heavy rain is just passing now and in the infra it shows that this band is moving on and should pass by the time we are all there.
