This week brought the tragic news that freelance war photographer Sabah al-Bazee was among 50 people killed in a gun attack at a local government building in Tikrit.

Al-Bazee, a contributor for Reuters for the past seven years was only thirty years old.  Reuters released the following statement:
"On behalf of the entire team at Thomson Reuters, I wish to convey our sadness at the untimely death of Sabah al-Bazee," says Reuters Editor-in-Chief Stephen Adler.

Thanks for your publication on this blog. From my experience, occasionally softening right up a photograph could provide the wedding photographer with a little bit of an inventive flare. Often times however, the soft clouds isn't just what you had as the primary goal and can usually spoil an otherwise good image, especially if you consider enlarging it.
