Hello there fellow photographers,
This week's image of the week is a crackin' (pardon the pun) shot of nature in all her glory. Lee Hulsman was driving home from dinner when he noticed a crazy lightning storm and the best part was, there was no rain!
He raced home and got his EOS 5D MKII and set it up at North Curl Curl on Sydney's northern beaches. "Storm Pools" is such technically brilliant image. The use of a small f/22 aperture maintains a great depth of field, essential to nearly all
landscape photography. (the beauty of art is that there are never sure fire ways of doing things every time as the results are as varied as the opinions). A sturdy tripod helps keep things nice and still (especially in a storm)
when exposing for 15 seconds as Lee did here. Great colours and lots of drama with fantastic composititon to boot!
