Wing player Gerald Wallace, who's 6'7" (compared to 6'6" for Kobe) was 23 of 35 at the rim. Kobe is 0 for 1 in two games. Can't disagree that Dallas schematics is an issue here. Mentioned that in the article. Likely to be a combination of factors keeping Kobe away from the rim. I do think that Kobe's not getting to the rim is one of the main overlooked stories in media coverage. That's why I listed it first.
