After the recent release of google+, the search engine giant has now released an app for the iPhone to share photos in a rather unusual way.

Similar to Canon's Photochain concept, Googles Photovine app allows you to share images inspired by the theme of the previous shot. "Photovine is a community that is about producing fun and unique collections of photos that we call Vines. A vine is like an endlessly growing family of photos connected through a common caption created by you, your friends, and people all over the world."
Google have been keeping very quiet about the details of the app, that requires an invitation to join. It also is keeping quiet about why it was launched on the iPhone rather than the Google Anroid phone, but claims there will be a version avaliable for these users soon.
