The exciting but illusive camera company Lytro announced their multi focus capturing system back in June. It's been pretty quiet since then, but finally their are some positive signs of movement from the California based company.

Lytro has been sending units out to professional hands for testing and units are expected to go on sale later in the year.

“Engineering and operations teams are currently conducting all of the typical activities you undertake to bring a product to market, such as manufacturing tests, certifications, and supply chain preparation,” a Lytro representative tells us.

However still no word on what it will look like and how much it will cost? I guess the waiting will just have to continue...
