The 2010 World Press Photo contest is exhibiting its winners this fortnight in Sydney's State Library. This inspiring collection shows the images choosen by this years judging panel consisting of picture editors, photographers and press agencies. The photographers choosen come from all around the world and represent the entire spectrum of the photojournalism field.

The work offers a perspective into how photographers have approached various news subjects over the past year and is presented in order to reflect the new trends and developments in the field.
The result is an exhibition filled with visually stunning but often disturbing images from some of the worlds best photojournalists.
